Idaho Science and Aerospace Scholars
In this course, students will explore the early history of astronomy and delve into the latest projects and technologies essential for extraterrestrial missions. Students will gain insights into the methods of reaching extraterrestrial destinations, ensuring sustainable life in those environments, and safely returning to Earth. Through collaborative efforts, students will design a crewed mission, combining existing and speculative technologies, envisioning a future interstellar expedition.
Students may also be selected to participate in an expense-paid summer academy sponsored by the University of Idaho. View full syllabus
