Math 6B

This course covers ratios, rates, integers, four quadrants of the coordinate plane, 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional geometry and data/graphing. Students will learn real-world applications for ratios and rates, such as finding better buys, use knowledge of integers to graph in all four quadrants in a coordinate plane, and calculate area, surface area, and volume of geometric figures. They will end the semester with a survey project where they will gather data from other students, analyze the data, and display it in different graphs. This course is a Quality Matters certified online course. View full syllabus
