Logo

The Idaho Digital Learning Alliance logo is the visage of our organization. The representation of Idaho exhibits our relationship with the state, the modern “digital” design reflects our commitment to innovation and the use of technology while the amalgamation of squares portray our service in connecting the state (students, educators, districts, and community).

Th Brand Identity is a unit that shouldn’t be used in parts, or broken into pieces. This will ensure the Brand Identity is always used consistently from promotional items to course flyers to the website experience. Following are the accepted uses of the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance Brand Identity.

The .zip file below contains the four different logos in three different color options (full color, black, and white) and in four different file formats (.svg, .pdf, .png, and .jpg). Please use the .svg and .pdf formats as the primary image format where possible, using the .png as a fallback for use cases where a .svg or .pdf isn’t accepted or allowed. The .jpg format should be used as a last resort, as it doesn’t have any transparency built in, and is the least versatile file format.

Size & Clear Space

The Brand Identity should have a clear space above and below that is equal to the height of the capital letters, and equal to one and on half times the height of the capital letters to each side. This will ensure the Brand Identity has room to “breathe” when used in combination with other graphic elements.

Typography

The principle typefaces for print advertising and other marketing pieces are Avenir and Calibri. Avenir Heavy should be used for headlines, headings, callouts or other short lines of text. Calibri should be used for body copy and longer blocks of text for increased legibility.

The brand also requires a typeface that is available as a web-safe font for online projects and for use internally in Microsoft Word and other cross-platform situations. For this purpose, Arial is the typeface that should be widely used to represent the brand.

Color Palette

Idaho Digital Learning Alliance has a specific color palette that may not be changed or altered. Additional colors may be added in the case of an advertising campaign, special event, or other marking need.

Primary Color Palette

The following colors are the core brand colors for the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance brand. These should not be changed or altered. We recommend uncoated paper stock to ensure a proper color match.
To maintain WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance, background and text color contrasts must meet a minimum of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. The green and grey colors can only be used on dark backgrounds; blues can be used on white background with white text.
