This course interprets the development of cultures from around the world from prehistoric times to A.D. 1500. Students will analyze the characteristics of human societies and explore how human cultures have interacted with each other over time. The evolution of global exchange and the ideas, concepts, and phenomena that have connected and divided people across region and time will be investigated.
