Students will learn to identify and analyze literary, poetic, and rhetorical devices, evaluating their effectiveness. Through each unit, students will examine the meaning of these themes and apply their insights in various written and creative projects, including comparison-and-contrast and argumentative paragraphs, research outlines, and even creative works like two-voice poetry.
