American Government B – FX

Welcome to Government B! This course is the second semester of American
Government required by the Idaho State Standards. We will learn more about the other
two branches of government–the Executive and the Judicial. You will get to learn more
about the federal and state government as we examine the many jobs of the president
and the bureaucracy that affects our daily lives. We will also examine some of the many
domestic and foreign policy matters that involve American citizens and foreign
countries. The U.S. Court system helps us settle disputes and we will look at some of
the landmark decisions that affect us all. The final section compares our government to
other nations to see some of the differences in the rights of citizens and the different
types of governments. Welcome aboard; let’s get underway on our adventure in
government! View full syllabus
