Biology B – FX

Biology B builds on the concepts you learned in Biology A. You will investigate natural selection and apply it to populations, history and diversity of life. You will explore how life on Earth displays both unity and diversity. In addition, you will learn about ecology from communities, populations, and the biosphere. Lastly, you will explore how humans have impacted planet Earth.

 

Idaho Lab Science Requirement: This course fulfills the lab science requirement by the State of Idaho in that there are weekly opportunities to manipulate equipment, materials, specimens or develop skills in observation and analysis and discover, demonstrate, illustrate or test scientific principles or concepts. Students should have completed at least one year of high school science before beginning this biology course.
