The Dual Credit Computer Science Principles course is a two semester course equivalent to a college level computer science course. Students enrolled in the Dual Credit course will earn college credits from Boise State University. Students must enroll in both Dual Credit CSP A and Dual Credit CSP B to earn credit from BSU.Introduction to the central ideas, practices, and impact of computer science and
computational thinking. Covers the seven big ideas in computer science: creativity,
abstraction, data and information, algorithms, programming, the internet, and global
impact. Computational thinking practices: connecting computing, creating computational
artifacts, abstracting, analyzing problems and artifacts, communicating, and
collaborating. This is the second semester of a year-long course and continues the
concepts and skills covered in DC Computer Science Principles A. It also continues to
prepare students for greater opportunities in Computer Science. Concurrent Enrollment
through Boise State University must be completed in the Fall. *Not a GEM course. View full syllabus
