Dual Credit Concepts of Biology B (CSI)

The Dual Credit Biology course is a two semester course equivalent to a college level biology course. Students enrolled in the Dual Credit course will earn college credits from College of Southern Idaho. Students must enroll in both DC BIO A and DC BIO B to earn credit from CSI.
This is an introductory course for non-science majors. The course will provide an introduction to the principles and processes that apply to living systems including a broad range of current biological issues. It meets for an equivalent of 5 contact hours per week with a minimum of 2 contact hours devoted to laboratory/investigative activities.
This is a GEM Scientific Ways of Knowing course.
Idaho Lab High School Science Requirement: This course fulfills the high school lab science requirement by the State of Idaho in that there are weekly opportunities to manipulate equipment, materials, and specimens or develop skills in observation and analysis and discover, demonstrate, illustrate, or test scientific principles or concepts.
