Dual Credit Concepts of Biology B (CWI)

The Dual Credit Biology course is a two semester course equivalent to a college level biology course. Students enrolled in the Dual Credit course will earn college credits from College of Western Idaho. Students must enroll in both DC BIO A and DC BIO B to earn credit from CWI.

 

This is an introductory course for non-science majors that provides a broad survey of biology by exploring the principles and processes that apply to living systems, including current biological issues.

 

This course is a GEM Scientific Ways of Knowing course.

 

Idaho Lab High School Science Requirement: This course fulfills the high school lab science requirement by the State of Idaho in that there are weekly opportunities to manipulate equipment, materials, specimens or develop skills in observation and analysis and discover, demonstrate, illustrate or test scientific principles or concepts. View full syllabus 

Required Prerequisites:
HS Biology + 1 year other HS year of Science.
