This is the second semester of a one-year Environmental Science course.  Students must successfully complete both “A” & “B” sessions of the IDLA class to earn college credit. A study of the issues pertaining to environmental sustainability including topics such as population growth, energy, pollution, and conserving biodiversity. *Not a GEM course.
Idaho High School Lab Science Requirement: This course fulfills the high school lab science requirement by the State of Idaho in that there are weekly opportunities to manipulate equipment, materials, specimens or develop skills in observation and analysis and discover, demonstrate, illustrate or test scientific principles or concepts.
