In this course, students will build the knowledge necessary to construct solutions to problems using the concepts underlying most programming languages, including variables, conditional statements, loops, and functions. Emphasis will be placed on problem decomposition, research techniques, and best practices for generating well-documented, reusable code. This course is part of a 3-course program at CSI.  Students who take all 3 courses will receive a technical certificate.  The three courses are Dual Credit Intro to Cybersecurity (CSI), Dual Credit Intro to Networking (CSI) and this course.  Courses may be taken in any order.  *Not a GEM course. View full syllabus
