Dual Credit Science of Animal Husbandry (U of I)

This course covers the study of Animal Science focused on animal husbandry, activities that are relevant to the production and care of these animals for human benefit. Students will learn about Maintaining Healthy Livestock, Sheep and Goats, Dairy Animals and Production, Nutrition and Feedstuffs, Genetics, Swine Production, Beef Production and Companion Animals and Other Production Livestock Species. They will complete projects, assignments, and practice a variety of topics in the field of animal science. This is a GEM course. Idaho Lab Science Requirement: This course DOES NOT fulfill the lab science requirement by the State of Idaho. This course is considered an elective science course.
