Dual Credit US History 2 (CWI)

This course covers American history from 1877 to today through critical analysis,
reading, writing, and communication skills. You’ll discover how decisions and events of
the past continue to have profound effects on the world today and how history can
influence future decisions. By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to put your
knowledge to the test by weighing evidence and interpreting problems presented by
historians. The equivalent of an introductory college level course, DC U.S. History offers
students a chance to earn high school credit and college credit simultaneously, and
opportunity for further study in history, political science, economics, sociology, and law.
