This course focuses mostly on nonfiction readings such as autobiographies, letters, seminal US documents as well as some fiction. Students will be reading To Kill A Mockingbird, which is more of a historical fiction piece the way it weaves in actual events during that time period. The writing assignments throughout this course focus mostly on analysis skills through informative writing.
