This CTE course will provide you with background knowledge and hands-on experience in
identifying and developing a real-world business idea in a small team environment. In
addition to completing coursework, you and your team will work with your instructor,
advisor, and/or a business mentor to dream up a viable idea for a business and craft a
plan for turning that business into a reality. Some of the topics you’ll explore include how
to come up with a good idea; how to tell whether your idea could actually be turned into
a profitable business; how to work with people; and how to finance a start-up business. This is a CTE Digital class. View full syllabus
