This course introduces the foundational aspects of early childhood education, including child development, the role of family and community, and strategies for supporting children from a variety of backgrounds. Students will explore topics such as “Early Childhood Through the Educational Lens” and “Childhood Development Basics.” Learning activities include assignments, projects, and peer discussions designed to build practical skills. The course concludes with a culminating project where students reflect on holistic teaching and demonstrate their understanding and application of core concepts.
