French 1A

This course covers grammar, vocabulary and culture for beginning French. Students
will learn vocabulary for greetings, school, families, houses and food. They will form
basic sentences in French as they learn verb conjugation, articles, gender of nouns,
cognates, subject pronouns, adjectives, questions, dates, time, prepositions and
possession. They will compare French culture with their own as they study greetings,
