Senior Future Readiness Project

Home » Course Schedule » Senior Future Readiness Project

In this course, students complete a project that shows they are ready for life after high school. Each student chooses a project based on their future college or career goals. The project should include real-world experience. This can be from a job, volunteering, or creating something meaningful. Students plan their project using timelines and goals and work with mentors and local project coordinators to meet all requirements.

During the course, students reflect on their progress and growth in key career skills. These include communication, leadership, problem-solving, and career exploration. They also explain how these skills will help them in college, the workplace, or other plans. Completing a career-focused project also helps students meet the requirements for opportunities like the Career Exploration Plan or the Idaho Launch Scholarship.
