Spanish 2B

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Español 2! The second semester of Spanish 2 is a
beginner-intermediate course that will build on the foundational structures and
vocabulary learned in the first semester of Spanish 2. Throughout this course, you will
learn to express yourself about a variety of topics including professions, leisure
activities, shopping for food and cooking dishes, describing appropriate clothing for use
in different climates, shopping and paying for items purchased, and illnesses, injuries,
and emergency responses. You will also continue to learn about various cultural topics
focusing on the country of Spain. You will continue to develop your skills in the past
tense while learning to distinguish between the preterite and imperfect past tenses and
applying these tenses to narratives in the past. You will also learn additional structures
and tenses that will allow you to give directions, provide locations, and improve your
fluency and proficiency while speaking and writing in Spanish. View full syllabus
