The holidays can be stressful. Even with some well-deserved time off, balancing online classes during the season can feel overwhelming. Well, guess what? It doesn’t have to be. With a little planning, you can dive into the festivities without stressing over schoolwork. Here are five easy tips to help you keep up with classes and enjoy all the holiday fun.
First up: Plan ahead! Grab your calendar and see what’s coming up before and after the holiday break. Knock out assignments in smaller chunks, so you’re not cramming the night before. You’ll feel way more relaxed knowing you’ve got it all under control.
Second, prioritize. Start with the assignments that are due first or may take longer to complete. Getting these out of the way early will free you up for more cocoa and cookies later on.
Tip three: Set up a cozy study spot. Find a quiet nook where you can focus. The holiday chaos is real, but a little peace and quiet (even if it’s in a corner of the room) will help you breeze through your work faster so you can get back to the festivities.
Now, let’s talk about rewards. Set mini-goals and treat yourself. Finish an assignment? Reward yourself with a holiday movie or your favorite snack. You’ll stay motivated, and it makes studying a lot more fun.
And last but definitely not least: Don’t forget to enjoy the season! The holidays are all about family, friends, and a well-deserved break. Balance is key here—keep up with your schoolwork and make time for the things that make this season special. With a little planning and some holiday spirit, you can have a fantastic, stress-free break. Here’s to a happy holiday season, full of both learning and celebrating! And don’t forget that your IDLA teacher is there to help!
