Registration Deadlines:

Boise State Concurrent Enrollment is open to students in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades to register for university credit. Students must have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.7; a 3.0 is recommended.

Summer 2024

  • Boise State Registration Opens: Monday, April 29, 2024

Fall 2024 & Year-long Courses

  • Boise State Registration Deadline: Friday, September 27, 2024
  • Boise State Course Drop Deadline (no ‘W’ on transcript, no course fees/tuition): Friday, October 18, 2024
  • Boise State withdrawal deadline (‘W’ recorded on transcript and course fees/tuition applies: Friday, January 10, 2025

Boise State Registration Checklist

  • Talk to your parents and your school Site Coordinator/Counselor about dual credit courses offered through IDLA. Be sure to discuss the benefits and drawbacks of college credit available through a dual credit course.  A full list of course offerings can be found on the IDLA Course Catalog.
  • Be sure you meet any prerequisite requirements for the course prior to registering for the course.
  • Work with your Site Coordinator to register for the course through IDLA.
  • Check your registration confirmation email for the course start date and other important information.
  • If you have never taken a class for college credit through Boise State, you must first register as a Boise State student.
    • Go to Boisestate.dualenroll.com
    • Read through all of the directions and, if desired, watch the registration video before beginning the process.
    • Complete the New Student Registration online form to set up your DualEnroll account and click the “Register” button at the bottom of the form.
    • Check your email for instructions about confirming your account. A second email will confirm the account activation.
      • Log in to your new account and complete steps 1-6 in the Status section of the online application form.
        • Step 1: Personal information
        • Step 2: Citizenship
        • Step 3: Release of information (optional step to allow someone to contact our office on your behalf)
        • Step 4: Student terms and conditions (read each item carefully and check box at bottom)
        • Step 5: Parent/guardian consent (for students under the age of 18)
        • Step 6: High school graduation year 
  • After registering as a Boise State student, or if you are a returning Boise State student, you can now register for classes.  You will need to register for EACH Boise State course you plan to take.
  • Please note: As a student, you may have multiple Dual Enroll accounts (CEI, CSI, CWI, ISU and UI).  You may use all the same login info that you used for the other schools BUT YOU MUST go to Boise State’s Dual Enroll portal and set up an account.
  • Go to Boisestate.dualenroll.com and Log in with your BoiseState.app.dualenroll.com login and password
    • Find the course you plan to take in the list of available courses in DualEnroll.com and click on the course title.
    • Select the section offered by your instructor and click “Register”.
    • You will be directed to your application status page. Enter your cumulative GPA. Note: Please be sure to enter your GPA. Your registration will not be processed without it.
  • If you are under 18, make sure your parent or guardian completes the consent form. If you selected “upload scanned consent”, click on the “Student: Provide Consent” link on your status page to access and upload the form.
  • Check your email for confirmation that your registration is complete. Processing may take up to two business days.
  • Talk to your parents and your school Site Coordinator/Counselor about Advanced Opportunities. funds provided by the State of Idaho. Determine whether or not to use these funds to pay for the cost of your college credits.
  • Using Advanced Opportunity funding? Work with your school Site Coordinator/Counselor to register through the state Advanced Opportunities portal.
  • Not using Advanced Opportunity funding?
    • If you do not qualify for Fast Forward funding, please see payment options below.
      • Check or Money Order – Please make payable to Boise State University, write the student’s name and Boise State student ID number on the memo line, and submit to the Concurrent Enrollment Office (220 E. Parkcenter Blvd, Boise ID 83706-3940). Cash is not accepted.
      • Electronic Check/Credit/Debit Card – You can also pay fees through your myBoiseState account. Log on to your myBoiseState account. Select “Student Center.” Navigate to the Finance Section in Student Center, select “Make a payment,” and follow the instructions. A convenience fee of 2.75% (minimum $3) will be added to all credit or debit card payments. There is no fee for an electronic check.
